Visual Arts and the Built Environment [VABE] is a combined four year program offering two university degrees; a general BA in Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, with a pathway to a fifth year of study for a Master of Architecture accredited by the National Architectural Accreditation Board [NAAB] through our combined program with the University of Detroit Mercy.
VABE is only open to Canadian Citizens or dual Canadian Citizens legally permitted to commute to the United States. Visa or Landed Immigrant students, interested in attending the University of Detroit Mercy must apply directly to that institution.
Students may also choose to pursue a four year BFA in Visual Arts and the Built Environment.
Prerequisites for students applying from high school with a minimum average of 75% are:
- ENG4U (grade 12 english)
- SPH4U (grade 12 physics)
- MHF4U (grade 12 advanced functions)
- MCV4U (grade 12 calculus and vectors) is recommended
